Insurance Policy Dubai
A valid Police Report is mandatory for all accidents and damages, including minor scratches and dents.
If no Police Report is submitted, the Hirer becomes liable for full repair cost plus daily rental during repair period.
Insurance does not cover damage from off-road/desert/rocky/flooded-area driving, racing, drifting, stunt driving, reckless or excessive-speed driving, negligence, or misuse.
Insurance may also not cover theft due to negligence (for example, leaving keys inside or vehicle unsecured).
Windshield, side/rear glass, tyres, rims, undercarriage, wheel alignment, interior upholstery, infotainment, and dashboard screens are not covered unless explicitly included in contract.
Water/flood/rain/seawater damage and wrong-fuel damage are fully chargeable to the Hirer.
Drivers under 25 may have additional young-driver excess as per insurer rules.
